Best Memory From TCNJ: Welcome Week 2012!  I met so many new people, many of which are my closest friends today.  Welcome Week was great because there were only freshmen on campus and we all were able to get acquainted to campus together with the help of our CAs and Ambassadors.

Why Did You Pick TCNJ?: I did an overnight in the spring of my senior year of high school as I was frantically trying to figure out where I wanted to attend college.  I felt a connection with my hosts at TCNJ; they were friendly and enthusiastic about their studies here at TCNJ.  Ultimately, I knew that TCNJ would provide me with an environment where I could balance all of my interests: chemistry, music, and friends.  I am able to complete my schoolwork, but I also have time to play the flute and hang out with friends.

Why Do You Love Being an Ambassador/What Do You Like Most About the Ambassador Program?: Being an Ambassador gives me the opportunity to show my school spirit and convey my excitement to other students considering attending TCNJ.  It is rewarding to know that I have helped both prospective students in their college decision, as well as freshmen in their transition to TCNJ during Welcome Week.  The Ambassador Program has also provided me a number of friends who are supportive, caring, and genuinely interested in my life.

Why did you pick TCNJ?: Because it is an affordable price, especially considering all it has to offer!

Why do you love being an ambassador/ what do you like most about the ambassador program?: I love being an ambassador because I get to meet the prospective and new students before anyone else, giving me the opportunity to help them through a difficult transition in their life, just like my ambassadors did for me. My favorite part about being an ambassador has definitely been meeting and spending time with my new freshmen floor (Nors 2!). They’re such an amazing group of people, and I love that I get to help them adjust to TCNJ and be a friend along the way.

Best Place to study on campus: Social Science Building Atrium

Best memory from TCNJ: Welcome week my freshman year

Why did you pick TCNJ: Close to home but far away enough at the same time, best cost for the quality of education, great community feel. Loved the campus the moment I stepped onto it.

Why Did You Pick TCNJ: I felt an energy when I first stepped on to campus that I had never felt before. The social and academic environment was exactly what I pictured my college experience to be like. I knew that I was going to be able to grow here and I simply just fell in love with TCNJ. It was love at first sight!

Why Do You Love Being An Ambassador: I love being able to connect with prospective students and incoming Freshman. Being an Ambassador gives me the amazing opportunity to share my passion for TCNJ and show people the same energy that I felt when I first visited.

TCNJ Hang Out: My favorite places to hang out are in the dorms with my friends or Alumni Grove on a nice day.

Best Place to Study: I like to study in the library and the Social Science Atrium.

Best Memory from TCNJ: Working Welcome Week with all the other Ambassadors.

Why did you pick TCNJ: Coming to TCNJ was the best decision I have ever made. I picked TCNJ because it had everything I was looking for in a school (high rankings, great programs, small class size…). The reputation that TCNJ has built for itself is what made me apply here and then when I visited, I knew TCNJ was the school for me.

Why do you love being an Ambassador: The Ambassador program had a huge impact on my first year experience because of Welcome Week and the fact that I can now have that same impact other students’ experiences is what makes being an Ambassador so great. Being able to represent TCNJ is amazing and all the great people I’ve met through the program has made me love being an Ambassador that much more.
